Major Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Operative to join a well-established and busy manufacturing site based in Dudley

Job Details

• Location: Dudley
• Pay Rate:
• £12.58 per hour (Morning/Afternoon shifts)
• £13.58 per hour (Night shifts)
• Contract: Temp to Perm
• Shift Pattern: Rotating shifts (Monday to Friday):
• 6:00am – 2:00pm
• 2:00pm – 10:00pm
• 10:00pm – 6:00am
  ⚠️ Candidates must be able to work all three rotating shift patterns.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely handling and moving steel tube bundles within the warehouse
• Operating overhead cranes and lifting equipment
• Loading and unloading deliveries and outgoing orders
• Picking, preparing, and dispatching customer orders
• Carrying out quality checks on products before storage and dispatch
• Labelling and tracking stock accurately
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised working environment

Requirements

• Previous experience in a Steel industry
• Overhead crane experience is essential
• Strong awareness of health & safety practices
• Good attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work as part of a team
• Basic computer skills
• Flexible and reliable with a willingness to work rotating shifts
